Hotel Development in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast

The Ruby Collection is a brand new development in Surfers Paradise; Tower 1 of 4 is opening November 2018. This new development is an exciting holiday precinct for families, corporate travellers and international guests offering 5 star accommodation and facilities – only a few minutes walk to Surfers Paradise beach.

My Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a Sales and Marketing team
  • Create email sequences using new EDM software ‘Revinate’
  • Design animated hero images, buttons, icons and ‘call to actions’
  • Photoshop images to enhance colours
  • Create hotel marketing collateral: in-room flyers, point of sale items, digital concierge
  • Liaise with upper management, printers and software companies
  • Manage design task from initial brief to final production

Samples of Work

Email Marketing:

I learnt new email software ‘Revinate’ and worked directly with the developers and the Digital Executive to produce a sequence of emails for guests. These emails are sent pre-arrival and post-arrival.

Animated Elements:

I used vibrant imagery, tropical colours and modern animations to represent the hotel and to appeal to the customer. Below are hero images and scrolling images featured in the EDM series.
