REIQ 2022 Rebrand: A Real Step Ahead

The REIQ is a trusted partner for over 15,000 real estate professionals in Queensland. The new brand is modern, bold and dynamic. It is designed to motivate members to step ahead, stay ahead, and thrive at every stage of their career.

Established in 1918, the REIQ is Queensland’s peak body in real estate influencing government legislation and contributing to the growth and development of the profession through training courses, property information, industry news and events.

Having worked for the REIQ for 3 years at the head office in Brisbane as a Senior Graphic Designer, I continue to provide freelance design services.

My Key Responsibilities for the 2022 Rebrand:

  • Provide Senior Graphic Design experience and production skills to complete rollout of brand assets according to the new REIQ brand guidelines
  • Design stationery including letterhead, media release and powerpoint presentation
  • Design large scale media walls
  • Design email signatures
  • Design digital ads; multiple campaigns
  • Design social media ads; multiple campaigns
  • Design podcast assets
  • Design training forms and certificates
  • Design email templates
  • Edit imagery in Photoshop
  • Work according to the brand roll-out schedule and marketing strategy
  • Work towards the deadline of launch dates
  • Liaise with REIQ staff including the Marketing Manager, Senior Graphic Designer, Content Marketing Strategists, Marketing Executives and other departments
  • Design, manage and produce design task from initial brief to final production

Full Time Graphic Design Work 2018-2021

My Key Responsibilities as a full time Senior Graphic Designer between 2018-2021:

  • Provide Senior Graphic Design experience and skills to implement the 3 Year Digital Transformation which included a new e-commerce website and content marketing strategy
  • Work within a Marketing and Communications team and liaise with other departments including Events, Advocacy, Membership and IT
  • Design digital assets for large scale campaigns including Google banner ads, social media assets and email marketing

  • Streamline brand guidelines and ensure brand continuity of all marketing collateral and templates

The Everyone Matters in Real Estate advocacy campaign successfully changed Queensland legislation. Assets included social media ads, website imagery and newspaper ads.


3 Year Digital Transformation – New E-Commerce website Incorporating Content Strategy and Social Media Platforms

The website is a portal for real estate training courses as well as property information, industry news and events. It connects to an e-learning platform, shopping cart and social media platforms.

Event Design:

The Awards for Excellence is the REIQ’s signature event. It is an annual celebration awarding high performers in the industry. Event design includes powerpoint presentations, social media, online ads, invitations, menus, table cards, brochures and signage. The photographer and videographer are provided instruction and live announcements of winners are uploaded to social media.
